This is the character portrayed by Dave woodward the leader of the society. He also runs our Northen branch, the Mortimer retinue.

Wars of the Roses

Here he is equiped in his usual armour as a knight during the wars of the roses in the late 15C. The armour is of the Gothic style, showing the fluting and cusping typical of the style. Dave is an armourer and has made this himself. Detailed pictures of his armour can be found HERE

100 years war

Like a lot of members he has costume and armour for a variety of historical periods. In this picture he is equiped as a 14C knight of the 100 years war. He weilds a Glaive and wears simple plate armour of the period. The haft of a battle axe can be seen hanging from his belt, this is being carried as a secondary weapon.
