Sir Jehan L'Estrange

One of our female Knights, and commader of the L'Estrange retinue, equiped as a knight circa 1350. Wearing full plate armour of the 14th century . This includes a coat-of-plates, plate arms, Plate Legs. Plate gauntlets and a bascinet with mail aventail is worn to protect the head. She is holding her Two handed sword and a shield displaying the same arms as her surcoat. 

Her arms are displayed on the shield and consist of two white Lions passant, on a Red field. The standard is also shown below below.

Hear Sir L'Estrange is wearing slightly earlier armour. This includes the same coat-of-plates, simpler plate arms, fabric covered plate upper legs and splint lower legs, with a simple knee cop. A bascinet with mail aventail is worn to protect the head.
