Greetings to my Cousins across the pond. I really enjoyed your website & found it fascinating. I am into primative archery and lately got interested Anglo history courtesy of your author Bernard Cornwell. After reading his "Grail Quest" series I have been hooked ever since. I have procured a slew of Yew staves from my family's forests in Oregon to make some long bows. I plan later
on to get "armored up" for the part as well. Any advice? We have Medieval societies here in Montana and plan on some participation. We have all sorts of wide open spaces to practice archery out here as well as bow hunting. At any rate, I am new to the internet and its great to find "treasures" like your web site. Thank-you and God Bless! Scott Schroeder

I have been interested in armour for years, and particularly plate armour. I was astounded to find that there are actually groups of people who are well organised and share my interest. This is something I would like to be involved with and would be pleased to gain more information if that were possible?

I commend you on your site. It is very well designed. It is eye-catching and informative. I keep it bookmarked and have visited it several times over the last year or so, I've just never taken the time to sign your guest book. I have to say that my favorite part of your site is the reenactment gallery. I have been fascinated by 15th century English history ever since I was a boy. I have a suit of Italian/Milanese export armor and a few other accessories, but there are few historic organizations in my area. I would join your organization in a heart beat if I only lived in the UK. I would be delighted if you took the time to visit my web site. It's a little out of date, but I'm working on it.

Hi!!

This is a wonderful page with excellent photos!! I'd like you where I can find women warriors that practize medieval fencing in reenactment battles. I'm from Madrid (Spain) and in my country we're still very beginner in those themes and somobody doesn't understand that a woman can fight and wear a mail coat. I'd like to contact with this women, if there are in your group.

cheers!!

Greetings,

An exellent site. Its good to know there are people keeping the spirit of the middle ages alive. Usually i only play Live Role Play (LRP) however this webpage has shown me that re-enactment seems alot more fun (steel weapons are better than latex ones). I will, hopefully, soon apply for membership.
