Currently training at home to expand my JAVA (Applet & JDBC) & Perl (CGI & DBI) programming skills. Created and continue to maintain the British plate armour society membership database in MS Access.
I've created this set of web pages for the re-enactment group I belong to and am maintaining then on an on-going basis. Mainly using Microsoft FrontPage but with a bit of direct HTML editing where required, and have started adding Java Applets and forms to spruce it up a bit and as a learning exercise for myself. Also now generating the shows, attendance list and guestbook pages directly from the MS access membership database using perl CGI & DBI.
Installed cygwin on my laptop and desktop PC to allow UNIX style development at home, including C and shell scripting.
Currently have a number of outstanding projects including leg armour for a suit of 14th century armour and overhaul of spare mail gauntlets.
Taught myself to juggle a while back, am still limited to 3 balls but am trying to learn new tricks. Just for a bit of fun and to use at re-enactment shows to entertain round the camp fire.
